The mission of Builders Trusts Field Safety Services Department is to assist Participants in identifying injury hazards and provide reasonable recommendations for eliminating or protecting employees from those hazards.
To be instrumental in the promotion, education and implementation of the safest work practices among our Participants and their employees.

BUILDERS TRUST’S FIELD SAFETY SERVICES DEPARTMENT WILL ASSIST PARTICIPANTS WITH STRATEGIES TO MAINTAIN A SAFE AND HEALTHY OCCUPATIONAL ENVIRONMENT AND TO IDENTIFY CORRECTIVE MEASURES NEEDED TO ELIMINATE OR CONTROL RECOGNIZED WORKPLACE HAZARDS.

Q: Does Builders Trust have any material that will help me put together a safety program?
A: Field Safety Services encourages all our Participants to create their own safety program. We have included a generic safety policy in your Participant Manual.
Q: I need ideas for my employee safety meetings.
A: Call our Field Safety Services Department. Our Toolbox Safety Talks, which is available online, contains written safety meeting talks on a variety of safety issues. We suggest you discuss items that apply to your current jobs.
Q: What happens at a job site safety survey?
A: Our BT Field Safety Services Consultant will observe & evaluate general safety practices including but not limited to, inspection of your job site housekeeping, tools in use and their condition, and worker safety. He will also ask if you have a written safety policy and program, if you hold employee safety meetings, & if you document them.
